Futurama is an animated science fiction sitcom that follows the adventures of a late-20th-century New York City pizza delivery boy, Philip J. Fry, who, after being unwittingly cryogenically frozen for one thousand years, finds employment at Planet Express, an interplanetary delivery company in the retro-futuristic 31st century. Episodes usually feature the central trio of Fry, Leela, and Bender, though occasional storylines centered on the other main characters such as Dr. Zoidberg, the Professor, Amy, Hermes, Zapp Brannigan, Nibbler… The series inspired a comic book series called Futurama Comics, a Futurama video game, and a four movies: Futurama: Bender’s Big Score, The Beast with a Billion Backs, Bender’s Game and Into the Wild Green Yonder.
