Season 2 Episode 10 – War of the Cryptids
Argost unleashes a legion of cryptids on the world in order to test Zak's powers.
Zak Saturday and his parents, Doc and Drew, are a family of world-saving scientists called "The Secret Saturdays." Living in a hidden base, they are part of a secret organization of scientists known as The Secret Scientists who protect mankind against the hidden and terrifying things of the world. In the series, folktales are not just legends, but actual mysteries that the Saturday family must solve. Traveling all over the world, the Saturdays explore ancient temples and bottomless caves, and battle with villains which includes the evil V.V. Argost (who hides his evil plans under his TV show Weird World) and rival cryptozoologist Van Rook. Scouring the globe in search of cryptids, the Saturdays attempt to keep the existence of these unusual beasts secret, to protect both mankind and the creatures themselves. The Saturdays and their exotic cryptid pets are a loving bunch, trying to work through everyday family matters and squabbles in-between their adventures.

Doc, Zak and Fiskerton strike a bargain with the Secret Scientists. The Scientists ask the Saturdays to remove a cryptid creature from Beeman's Lab. In exchange the Secret Scientists will put their pursuit on Zak off for six months.
Zak's birthday party is filled with surprises including a visit from Ulraj and Wadi.
The Saturdays go to Istanbul to extract a lake monster. But the operation hits a snag when Epsilon and Francis show up with a proposition for Zak, when he refuses they decide to take him by force.
The Saturdays return to their headquarters to retrieve tomes from Drew's library and are ambushed by Tsul 'Kalu, a cryptid whose hand now resides at the end of Zak's Claw. Meanwhile Doyle and Van Rook are ambushed by Abby.
The Saturdays learn about a sect of Indian sorcerers who were able to drive out the spirit of Kur in the past, and they attempt to find them, in hope that group can do it again. However, they were attacked by the Secret Scientists again, but managed to escape. Eventually, they met the headmaster of the Legion of Garuda. They learned that in order to drive out the spirit of Kur a ritual, using an artifact known as the "Flute of Gilgamesh", must be performed. Unfortunately, the Nagas had stolen the artifact millenia ago. The Saturdays successfully retrieved the artifact and the ritual was carried out. Unfortunately, it was revealed midway that driving out Kur's spirit meant killing him; especially since Zak is Kur himself rather than someone possessed by him.
The Saturdays' ship goes off course after its guidance system is sabotaged by mischievous Bunyips.
The Saturdays go to Mexico when Zak hears of the cryptid, Ahuizotl on Weird World. They find that the cryptid sighting is near a beach resort, so they decided have a short vacation interlude. This disrupted by Miranda Grey and Dead Bolt, who had tracked the Saturdays down. After a battle with Miranda and Dead Bolt, the Saturdays successfully break Dead Bolt and toss Miranda into the jungle.
The Saturdays fight to keep the Nagas and the other cryptids from invading the world. Meanwhile, Doyle, Zon and Leonidas Van Rook are still looking for V.V. Argost. Doyle and Van Rook seem to find evidence that Argost is dead. The Saturdays go to Hong Kong expecting the Nagi invasion to start there but turn out to be wrong. The Nagas are invading New York. After some encouragement, Zak stops the invasion and is saved by a mysterious black shadow. It turns out to be V.V. Argost who offers to (cryptically) teach Zak to better control his powers through Argost's show, Weird World. Zak accepts the deal, despite knowing that Argost is trying to somehow trick him. Zak also asked Doyle to find out as much about Argost's past as he can.
Six months after the Kur crisis, the other Secret Scientists have discovered that Zak is Kur, and are tracking him to take him into custody, forcing the Saturdays into a life as fugitives. To make matters worse, the Nagas are also after Zak, in hopes of making him their new leader. Meanwhile, Doyle and Zon go to England and have a run-in with Leonidas Van Rook (who had just had his buisness overtaken by Abbey) when looking for V.V. Argost, who has mysteriously disappeared.
