The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes is an American animated television series by Marvel Animation based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers. The series initially features, Marvel’s most powerful superheroes, a team composed of Iron Man, Ant-Man, Hulk, Thor, and the Wasp. The team is later joined by Captain America, Black Panther, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, and Vision. Many other characters from the Marvel Universe such as Spider-Man, Wolverine, Scott Lang, Heroes for Hire, Doctor Doom, Surtur, Crossfire, Thunderbolt Ross, his Red Hulk form, Guardians of the Galaxy, Falcon and Beta Ray Bill appear. When the planet is threatened by Super Villains, time traveling conquerors, alien invaders, mythical monsters and mad robots bent on the total destruction of humanity, when forces of evil are so overwhelming that no single hero has the power to save the world…the Avengers assemble!
From the very moment of their team’s inception, the Avengers have fought against super-villains, time-travelling conquerors and even shape-shifting alien invaders. But now they must bring forth an army of nearly all their allies to face their greatest challenge yet – Galactus, the devourer of countless worlds and civilizations, and his quartet of heralds drawn from the very elements of nature.
The Avengers arrive on the Kree homeworld of Hala, but find that they aren’t exactly welcome there – even with Captain Marvel on their side.
The Kree attempt to create a wormhole connecting our solar system with their galaxy, which will consequently destroy the Sun and all life on Earth – just as Kang the Conqueror predicted. The Avengers and Captain Marvel head into space to stop it, but will they be in time?
Kang the Conqueror is freed from prison by his alternate timeline look-alikes and attempts to conquer the world once again, this time trapping the Avengers in a temporal void to keep them from getting in the way of his plans. Now a new team of heroes (comprised of Spider-Man, War Machine, Wolverine, Iron Fist, Luke Cage and the Thing) must band together to stop the cross-temporal onslaught.
When the Hulk’s name is cleared of the crimes committed by the Red Hulk, the Avengers find that the deception put forth by Captain America’s Skrull doppleganger has made the green-skinned juggernaut even more of a loose cannon than before. Meanwhile, the enigmatic Red Hulk returns with a scheme to usurp the Hulk’s place among the Avengers.
