Star Wars: The Clone Wars is the latest 3D animated series in the Star Wars franchise, created by George Lucas, to hit the small screen. The series takes place in between the films Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, in the fictional Star Wars galaxy, during the same time period as the previous series from 2003 Star Wars: Clone Wars season 3. The series debuted with an animated feature movie of the same name, and there is also an online comic. The series features Yoda, who is leading The Grand Army of the Republic, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Anakin Skywalker and other Jedi Knights, General Grievous, Chancellor Palpatine, the New Droid Army of the Separatists and many more.
