Iron Man: Armored Adventures is a 3D cartoon series based on the Marvel Comics superhero Iron Man. It started airing after the success of the live action Iron Man movies. The series follows the adventures of teenage child prodigy Tony Stark and his alter ego of Iron Man. As Iron Man, he uses his high-tech suit of armor, and other technological inventions to stop villains such as Mandarin, Mr. Fix, Whiplash, A.I.M., Madame Masque, Living Laser, the Maggia, Firebrand, Controller, Crimson Dynamo, Blizzard, Killer Shrike, Unicorn, M.O.D.O.K., Ghost, Fin Fang Foom, Black Knight, and Technovore. His friends, James “Rhodey” Rhodes and Pepper Potts help him on his courageous, and dangerous adventures. Now dependent on his phenomenal technology for survival, Tony must balance the pressures of teenage life with the duties of being a super hero.

Just on Tony’s birthday, Mandarin makes his move and demands domination over the world. But things take a surprising turn for the worse when the Makluan Overlord arrives on Earth to reclaim the Makluan rings and start a full-scale invasion.
Pepper gets a suit and transforms into Rescue, who helps Iron Man search for Mandarin in China. The truth about the rings is revealed. Gene finds the tenth ring and defeats the last guardian, which turns out to be a Makluan. Howard Stark reveals to Tony that he knew that he was Iron Man the whole time.
Someone is after Rhodey and Pepper and sets a explosive in the armory. Meanwhile, Obadiah Stane and Iron Monger return, and Iron Man learns that it is not really Stane as the pilot. The question is: Who is piloting Iron Monger?
Fugitive scientist Bruce Banner seeks out the Starks for help. But when the army soldiers led by General Thunderbolt Ross co-opts S.H.I.E.L.D. to make an attack, Iron Man must fight and subdue the Hulk in order to save him!
